Everyone needs a break sometimes, and this includes caregivers. Advantage Home Care will find replacements whenever a caregiver is sick or out of town. If you hire a caregiver yourself, providing caregiver assistance will be your responsibility.
Third-party payers rarely pay for services from independent caregivers. Advantage Home Care will represent you with third-party payers, including long term care insurance companies, the Department of Human Services, or the Veterans Administration. We will submit copies of our licensing and care plan to begin services. Twice a month, every month thereafter, we will submit documentation of services performed. This service saves you time, hassle, and money.
Advantage Home Care conducts Oregon and National background checks, as well as sex offender checks and drug tests for all employees. AHC also provides workers’ compensation, liability insurance, sick leave, and health insurance. AHC pays all payroll taxes. Caregiver assistance is a priority to us.
Moreover, Advantage Home Care takes on the responsibility of training, monitoring, and supervising caregivers. Independent caregivers may not have any formal medication, infection control, or safe transfer training, and do not have RN and management supervision. If your needs change, we update your schedule, care plan, and caregiver training. If a caregiver is unsatisfactory for some reason, we find a replacement for you. We are responsible and responsive to your needs.
